The Book of James
James has been called the "How-To" book for practical,Christian living. It's easy-to-understand language and relevant subject matter is as applicable today as it was the day it was written.
In this short book, James describes several qualities that identify a true and genuine faith, and how that faith works in the real world.
Below I've listed a few of these qualities and the scriptural references. I hope you will find it useful in your study of the book of James.

3. Faith seeks Godly wisdom.
See James 1:5-7, 12-15; 3:17-18
4. Faith acts wisely and exhibits self-control.
See James 1:19-21, 26; 2:12-13; 3:6-12, 14-16; 4:11, 16-17; 5:9, 12, 19-20
5. Faith doesn't rely on earthly riches.
